In Memorium – Jeff Safford

We are very sad at the passing of our longtime member Jeff Safford. Jeff was a regular fixture at monthly meetings with wife June. Always in the front row, Jeff would look forward to the recent bird sightings portion of the meeting, and often added his own sightings. Jeff held the chapter record for most Christmas Bird Counts attended, starting in the early 1970s. Jeff also served on the SAS Board of Directors from 2012-2015.
