Knock Out Burdock! Work Party

Gallagator Trail (upper) 7:30 am (meet on Garfield Street where it intersects the Gallagator Trail, near the ponds)
Bring pruning clippers or loppers if you have them and wear gloves, long sleeves and long pants of fabrics that burs won’t adhere to.  Walk past the green gate to the Kingfisher Pavilion. Plan to work for an hour or two, but whatever time you can afford will make a difference.  With your help, we will “Knock out Burdock”!

PS:  Remember to watch for burdock in your own neighborhood.  Cut the flowering stalks down, remove all the burs, and dispose of them with the trash.  The birds will thank you!
